When I thought of all the bundles I wanted to offer on my website a "Loss Care Pack" was top of my list. I was making it based off what I had given a friend who experienced a loss while I was pregnant with Levi.
After now having experienced my own loss I know more then ever how these things can help. Silence isn’t helpful, and support is needed to recover mentally, physically and emotionally.
In saying that here are the 10 products I used that actually helped me along the way:
- Heat Pack - this is essential, the entire time from the onset of pain to the recovery this is the item I had with me all the time to ease cramps.
- Herb Infused Postpartum Pads - I had bleeding for 3 weeks, these pads were great for overnights and post surgery.
- Summer salt body Essential oil roller Healing blend - really helpful for the days where I was feeling run down, and needed some self care, the smell was really lovely and eased my tension.
- Chill out Mama Tea- I had a cup of this every day with my heat pack on my belly laying on the couch, it really helped calm me and soothe me through those big cramps.
- Postpartum Bath Salts - post surgery after my 2 week follow up when I was allowed a bath again I loved these salts for their healing properties and they were amazing in a bath when I had aches and pains from not being able to do yoga!
- 24k Gold Eye Mask for Dark Circles - just some vain TLC for my poor dark tired eyes!
- Surrender Essential Oil - This beautiful oil has many purposes and one of them is to ease menstrual cramps, I used it on my pelvis after surgery when my ovaries were feeling tender.
- Stainless Steel Water Bottle with sip lid- just so handy for hospital to have your own big water bottle with you for taking pain meds and staying hydrated.
- Coffee Keep Cup - again used in hospital and for weeks after with my teas and coffees, great for when laying down as it doesn’t spill!
- Fluffy bed socks- comfort 100%
